Learning Objects

Learning objects are a new way of thinking about learning content, they are[1]:

• small units of learning, typically ranging from 2 minutes to 15 minutes.

• self-contained, each learning object can taken independently

• reusable

• structured to be grouped into larger collections of content

• tagged with "metadata" - information about the object
