A site coordinator at each school facilitates the local integration of the resource. Funding from the Ontario Women’s Health Council supported one half day per week of faculty time at each school during Phase II of the project.
The site coordinators work together to share ideas and resources and provide a link between the project team, the local curriculum committee and the project as a whole.
The site coordinators worked with the students at each school and guided the development of materials and supervised the students. This was an opportuntity to develop positive mentoring relationships.
